Primary data acquisition completed on the Hungarian side

The collection of primary data was completed on the Hungarian side as a result of which exact (at the time of collection) data are available about the clinics and pharmacies covering Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County.

The area covered by the project and the institutions reviewed are shown in the figure below.

Large volume of experience has been gained in the course of collecting the data.

One of the findings and may be the most important one is that deviations have been identified between the data obtained in primary data acquisition and the secondary data acquisition. These deviations typically concern the location of the on-duty sites, the operators and the timetable of availability.

Another important finding is that the representatives of pharmacies and on-duty clinics had a different attitude towards the project and in general towards their inclusion in such a database. There were partners who were pleased about the establishment of such an application and database. At the time time, there were entities who were reluctant to provide information, despite the fact that public data or data of public interest were in question (what is more, data which should be made available to as many people as possible). As the up-to-datedness of the data has a high priority, therefore, preparations must be made to manage the situation in order to update the data from time to time.

As a result of the decision made recently, the final deadline of the implementation of the project was extended with 2 months, therefore, the on-duty health care service monitoring system will be completed by November, 2014, therefore, it will be available for use already this year.
